Town of Dummerston
Vertex – Vermont Towers, LLC and Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems, LLC d/b/a Verizon Wireless (the “Applicants”) have filed and served an advance notice of their intent to apply to the Vermont Public Utility Commission for a Certificate of Public Good to construct a Wireless Communications Facility including a 140-foot-tall monopole-style tower at 3219 West River Road, Dummerston, VT 05357 Tax Assessor Parcel 2-98. The Applicants will conduct a Visibility Demonstration to illustrate the location and height of the proposed Facility by means of a balloon raised at the proposed location to a height of 140 feet. Said Visibility Demonstration will be held TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, weather and wind conditions permitting. In the event of inclement weather on December 9, 2025, the Visibility Demonstration will be rescheduled to the next day OR each successive weekday (not weekend day) until weather and wind conditions permit a successful demonstration.
