Vertex Towers, LLC and Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems, LLC d/b/a Verizon Wireless (the “Applicants”) have filed and served an advance notice of their intent to apply to the Vermont Public Utility Commission for a Certificate of Public Good to construct a Wireless Communications Facility including a 126’ tall lattice-style tower at 399 VT Route 100, Newport Center, VT 05857 Tax Assessor Parcel ID 08-1000399. The Applicants will conduct a Visibility Demonstration to illustrate the location and height of the proposed Facility by means of a balloon raised at the proposed location to a height of 126 feet. Said Visibility Demonstration will be held TUESDAY, MAY 13, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm noon, weather and wind conditions permitting. In the event of inclement weather on May 13, 2025, the Visibility Demonstration will be rescheduled until the next weekday and each successive weekday until weather and wind conditions permit a successful demonstration.
